Had a wonderful experience during my first visit. The host was friendly. Food tasted great. Highly recommend this place. It does get crowded, so there is a bit of a wait. Plan accordingly for this. It is worth the wait. Not okay for people to be mean to the host for not having enough seating inside, it is out of their control. Will be visiting again

This is a good atmosphere restaurant right in the heart of the city with a good beer selection. The pizza was extremely bland unfortunately, like no taste on the crust. It took us a long time to be helped but once we were the service was fine. Sadly the food just ain’t there. I’d skip.

Great Pizza and the Best Lasagna in BigBear town ! For people looking for Vegetarian options, make your own pizza here with a large choice of veggies toppings...you won't get disappointed. Spinach Lasagna is a must try ! It is mostly crowded so visited on a weekday and service was okay.

Saucy Mama’s hit the spot after a day in Big Bear! We tried the wings, pizza, and fried ravioli—and everything was delicious. The wings were perfectly crispy with great flavor, the pizza had that ideal thin crust with plenty of cheesy goodness, and the fried ravioli was a fun and tasty appetizer we’d definitely order again. The vibe was casual and lively, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Whether you’re with friends or family, this is a great spot to relax, eat well, and enjoy the mountain town atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town!

UPDATE: Had to stop in again while visiting Big Bear Lake this week. The pizza and service was perfect as usual and special thanks to Luis, who made our visit much more enjoyable. Our trip to Big Bear Lake was great and in large part to the fantastic selection of restaurants in the area. If you love pizza and are visiting Big Bear Lake, then Saucy Mama’s Pizzeria is a must. Great location with a welcoming atmosphere and fantastic staff, especially Cristian our server. And do not get me even started on the pizza, WOW, what a delicious meal. Best of all, the price of the food here is amazingly affordable, especially when you see what you get for your money. We were lucky that it was not too busy at the time and were able to be waited on immediately upon entry. There is sitting both inside and on a small patio outside. The restaurant also has a full bar for those who partake in the spirits. Plenty of parking located to the rear of the restaurant or out in front on the street, if you can find a spot. Finally, kind of jealous of all the locals that have such a wonderful restaurant at their disposal, we will be back again.
